The Senior Java Software Engineer will support complex software systems used for mission capability management, equipment control, data processing workflows, backend repositories, dashboards, and enterprise web applications. This role works directly with system engineers, hardware engineers, field engineers, mission stakeholders, and software developers to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain software that supports operational mission needs. 


The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, JEE, Spring, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, RESTful services, Apache Tomcat, Linux, C++, databases, Git/GitLab, test-driven development, and system-level documentation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Senior Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Engineer - Doral, FL - Secret clearance required

Job description: Arrona Tech is seeking a motivated, mission focused Senior Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Engineer to support the SOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services 2 (SCITES 2) contract in Doral, FL, within the Miami area. This is a full time W2, onsite role supporting a secure Department of Defense mission environment. An active Secret clearance is required, and the candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain Top Secret SCI access.


The Senior VDI Engineer will support enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure engineering, modernization, sustainment, and optimization efforts. This role is focused on requirements analysis, solution design, lifecycle documentation, platform stability, secure baseline management, and hands-on technical execution across enterprise VMware Horizon based VDI environments.


The ideal candidate will have strong experience engineering and supporting VMware Horizon, ESXi, vCenter, Dynamic Environment Manager, App Volumes, Instant Clone Pools, FSLogix for Microsoft 365, VDI gold images, patching, performance tuning, and secure DoD system operations. The candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting complex VDI issues, supporting modernization activities, developing engineering documentation, and working with cybersecurity, operations, and mission stakeholders to ensure reliable and secure virtual desktop services.


Experience supporting a DoD Combatant Command or Service Component is strongly preferred. Prior experience supporting SOUTHCOM or SCITES is highly preferred.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Lead engineering and modernization efforts for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments supporting DoD missions, driving requirements analysis, solution design, and lifecycle documentation in alignment with DoD 5000.02 processes.
  • Engineer, manage, and optimize VMware Horizon 2512 enterprise VDI platforms.
  • Support image creation, application layering, profile management, user experience optimization, and performance tuning.

Job description: Arrona Tech is seeking a motivated, mission focused Senior Network Engineer to support the SOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services 2 (SCITES 2) contract in Doral, FL, within the Miami area. This is a full time W2, onsite role supporting a secure Department of Defense mission environment. A current/active TS/SCI clearance is required.


The Senior Network Engineer will support enterprise network engineering, secure classified network connectivity, sustainment, modernization, and compliance efforts across mission critical networks. This role is focused on planning, designing, maintaining, securing, documenting, and troubleshooting enterprise network assets supporting classified networks, including SIPR, NIPR, and JWICS environments.


The ideal candidate will have strong experience engineering and supporting routers, switches, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), classified network connectivity, DISA STIG compliance, RMF support, SCCA, cross-domain solutions, and enterprise service connections across secure DoD environments. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, design, and maintain connectivity for enterprise network assets, ensuring compliant and secure operations on classified networks, including SIPR, NIPR, and JWICS.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address connectivity requirements and implement required network configurations to support efficient and secure data transmission.

Required Qualifications:

The Video Teleconferencing Technician will support enterprise video teleconferencing operations, conference scheduling, Tier I and Tier II customer support, outage response, site surveys, installations, equipment configuration, and system check-out activities. This role helps ensure reliable, secure, and mission ready VTC services for customers operating in a DoD environment.


The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge of IP networks and how they support VTC systems, experience supporting VTC users and conference rooms, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues involving endpoints, network connectivity, room equipment, scheduling, and failover or backup capabilities.

  • Provide Tier I and Tier II customer support for VTC systems, conference services, and mission users.
